Marazzi Group S.r.l. a socio unico is committed to making its website accessible, in compliance with Law no. 4 of January 9, 2004. This accessibility statement applies to the website www.ragno.co.uk
Compliance status
This website is not compliant with the requirements set forth in Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard. The cases of non-compliance are listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reason: non-compliance with Law no. 4 of January 9, 2004.
1. Perception
- Images with text lacking adequate alternatives: Some images containing text do not provide sufficiently explanatory descriptions or alternative attributes, compromising content understanding for users relying on assistive technologies.
- Heading structure not always consistent: On some pages, headings are missing or used in an unstructured way, negatively impacting navigation and page orientation.
- Decorative elements not properly identified: Some purely decorative elements are not appropriately marked, making them perceivable by screen readers and generating redundancies in the reading flow.
- Text-to-background contrast: In some cases, the color contrast between text and background is insufficient to ensure easy reading for users with visual impairments or low vision, compromising the perceivability of textual content.
- Content order not always consistent with visual presentation: In some sections of the site, the order in which content is read by assistive technologies or reached via keyboard does not match the visual order perceived on the screen. This may cause confusion during navigation for users with disabilities, making it harder to understand the structure and properly use the page functionalities.
2. Operability
- Keyboard navigation not always complete: Some menus, buttons, input fields, and modal windows are not fully accessible using the keyboard. In certain cases, focus is not managed correctly, preventing users from navigating continuously and predictably.
- Focus not always evident: In some cases, when navigating via keyboard, the visible outline (focus) that should indicate the active element is missing or not sufficiently clear. This can make it difficult for users to understand their location within the page and interact correctly with the content.
- Absence of shortcuts to reach the main content: At the beginning of the page, there is no link allowing direct access to the main content. Additionally, pages are not always organized in the code to easily show where the different sections begin and end, making orientation more difficult for those using assistive tools.
- Loss of functionality with zoom or window resizing: In some cases, using the browser zoom function or resizing the site window (e.g., switching from mobile to desktop view and vice versa), some interactive functionalities stop working correctly, such as the menu button. Reloading the page is required to restore functionality.
- Animated elements without control: Some carousels do not offer options to pause or stop the animation.
- Links with improvable descriptions: Some links lack sufficiently descriptive labels, making it less immediate to understand their purpose, especially for users relying on assistive technologies.
3. Understandability
- Messages not always in the correct language: Some user messages for screen reader users are communicated in English instead of Italian, possibly causing comprehension difficulties.
- Focus management not always consistent: When closing interactive elements (e.g., the filter bar in the collections section), the focus does not always return to the element that activated them, potentially causing disorientation. On some pages (store locator), interaction with selection fields causes a page reload without notifying the user, resulting in loss of focus.
- Input field labels in forms and error management need improvement: In some sections of the site, form fields lack semantically correct or sufficiently informative labels. Additionally, error handling during form completion and data entry suggestions may not always be adequately communicated, compromising the user experience for those relying on assistive technologies.
4. Robustness
- ARIA roles not always complete or correct: Some elements are not adequately labeled with names or roles, complicating interaction for those using assistive technologies.
- Status messages not always present or sufficient: Some interface changes are not communicated to users, reducing clarity, particularly for those relying on assistive technologies.
