The production of traditional packaging requires a large amount of resources, including oil, energy and water. By using packaging made from recovered recycled materials, we can reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill, energy consumption and the resources needed to produce new packaging.
Our packaging is 100% recyclable and, finally, our pallets are made with wood also sourced from forests certified according to the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) system, meaning from proper and traceable forest management.
In 2025, we completed the transition from white packaging to natural havana cardboard, which is lighter but offers the same performance.
During the year, 4,400 tonnes of havana cardboard were purchased, helping to avoid more than 2,160 tonnes of CO₂ emissions thanks to a more efficient and sustainable supply chain.
Furthermore, havana cardboard allows up to 80% of post-consumer paper to be recovered, promoting circularity and resource efficiency.
The use of latest-generation printers in all offices represents a further step towards the responsible use of resources. To date, 180 new machines have been installed, reducing environmental impact thanks to lower energy consumption: on the one hand, the toners in these printers are smaller and generate less waste to dispose of; on the other, printing is faster and makes it possible to obtain a greater number of pages using less energy.
By purchasing these printers, the Group also participates in global, certified reforestation projects.
